For years people were used to making compromises when it came to outdoor furniture. The minimum level of comfort was achieved through covers that had to be safely stowed in wind and rainy weather. Who has not already forgotten to think about it or not annoyed about the additional space required for intermediate storage? No wonder that the fully upholstered Lounge System from IKONO initially met with skepticism about its outdoor capability.
All modules covered with outdoor fabrics are weatherproof and can stay outside all year round. The lotus blossom effect lets liquids of all kinds roll off. The residual moisture is can be wiped off with a dry towel. Depending on the outside temperature, the furniture is dry and ready for use again within a very short time. In summer it is only a few minutes when the sun is shining before you can put your feet up again. With the keyword sun we are also with the actually bigger challenge for outdoor furniture. Inferior fabrics often fade after the first season. Thanks to the use of 100% dyed (spinneret-dyed) fibers, the fabrics we use remain colour-fast even after years.
With our latest product development, the patented substructure made of aluminum profiles, the modules withstand all environmental impacts and every room climate. A deformation of the furniture is not an issue, even in rooms with high humidity, such as in spa areas.
